Snapshot

Scaled Marketing Operations from Scratch to a High-Efficiency Marketing Engine: Developed and Executed a Strategic Framework for Intake, Production, Publishing, and Reporting. Integrated Creative Systems, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Martech Tools, and Playbooks to Streamline Campaigns and Align with Key Goals to Drive Growth Effectively

My Role & Leadership

I designed and led the transformation of 1871’s marketing operations, implementing scalable systems, automation, and workflows to support a growing team and increasing campaign volume.

  • Structured Marketing Operations – Developed intake, production, publishing, and analysis workflows to streamline execution.

  • Martech & GenAI Integration – Implemented HubSpot, Asana, Later, and Slack, alongside GenAI tools for content creation, automation, and efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Built a playbook to align marketing with product, sales, and experience teams, ensuring seamless execution.

  • Team Development & Growth – Scaled and structured the team, fostering a culture of ownership, process-driven execution, and career growth.

Key Results & Impact

📈 30% increase in team efficiency, enabling faster campaign execution

📈 25% of marketing tasks automated, reducing manual workload

📈 25% reduction in project delays, improving workflow speed and execution

📈 20% increase in campaign output, optimizing resource allocation

Challenge

❌ Lack of structured processes – Campaigns and product launches were executed ad-hoc, leading to delays and inefficiencies.

❌ Scalability limitations – The growing workload required systems to support multiple launches simultaneously.

❌ Manual, time-consuming workflows – Repetitive tasks consumed team bandwidth, reducing focus on strategy.

❌ Siloed collaboration – Marketing was disconnected from sales, product, and experience teams, affecting alignment.

Approach & Execution

✅ Built scalable marketing systems – Created repeatable intake, project management, and publishing frameworks.

✅ Integrated martech & GenAI tools – Adopted Asana for task management, HubSpot for CRM, Later for social scheduling, and GenAI for content generation & automation.

✅ Developed a cross-functional playbook – Standardized collaboration with product, sales, and experience teams.

✅ Automated repetitive tasks – Streamlined reporting, content scheduling, and lead nurturing, freeing up resources.

✅ Fostered a growth-driven team – Provided mentorship, defined clear career paths, and empowered team ownership.
